At Minimaal en Mooi Houtwerke, we take great pride in our custom wood furniture, wooden countertops, floating shelves, wood stair parts, and other custom wood products. Each piece is crafted with care and attention to detail to meet your specific requirements.
However, we understand that there may be occasions when you need to return an item.

General Return Conditions

Notification Period: If you wish to return an item, you must notify us within 7 days of receiving your order. Returns requested after this period will not be accepted.

Return Window: Returns must be initiated and completed within 30 days of the original delivery date.

Condition of Items: Returned items must be in their original condition, unused, and with all original packaging and documentation. Items that have been used, damaged, or altered in any way will not be eligible for a return or refund.
Custom and Personalized Orders

No Returns: Custom or personalized orders are non-returnable and non-refundable. This includes any product that has been made to your specifications or personalized in any way.

Approval Process: Before production begins, we provide detailed specifications and mock-ups for your approval. Once you approve these details, the order is considered final and cannot be returned for reasons such as dissatisfaction with approved design, dimensions, or materials.
Defective or Damaged Items

Inspection: Please inspect your order upon delivery and notify us immediately of any defects or damages.

Reporting Issues: If you receive a defective or damaged item, you must contact us within 7 days of delivery to arrange for a return, replacement, or refund. We may request photographs or additional information to process your claim. Please refer to our Cosmetic Standard Policy to understand what we consider defective or damaged items.
Return Process

Contact Us: To initiate a return, contact our customer service team with your order number and details of the item you wish to return.

Return Authorization: We will provide you with a Return Authorization Number (RAN) and instructions on how to return the item. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

Shipping Costs: You are responsible for the cost of returning the item unless it is defective or damaged. We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged returns.
Refunds, Replacements, and Exchanges

Inspection: Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your request.

Resolution Options: If your return is approved and the condition of the item is satisfactory, we will first attempt to provide you with either a replacement or an exchange. Only if these options are not viable will we consider issuing a refund. This is handled on a case-by-case basis, depending on the specific situation. Please note that lead times do apply once more for remaking the order.

Processing Time: If a refund is deemed necessary, it will be processed within 30 business days and credited to your original method of payment.

Restocking Fee: A restocking fee of 15% may apply to returned items that are not defective or damaged.
