Ordering from Outside of South Africa

Minimaal en Mooi Houtwerke ships worldwide to over 220 countries. Contact us for shipping rates and information if your country is outside South Africa.

 

Delivery & Shipping

All our products are handcrafted and made to order.

 

We prioritize quality and aim to dispatch orders promptly after manufacturing.

Orders are shipped Monday to Thursday, excluding weekends and public holidays. Please ensure someone is available at your delivery address to sign for the parcel during business hours.

 

Courier Partners

We partner with leading courier companies to ensure reliable delivery:

  • The Courier Guy: Our preferred courier partner for small delivers door-to-door nationwide across South Africa.

  • Hop Scotch Freight: Our preferred partner for bulk shipments, offering secure and efficient shipping services within South Africa, and Fast Cross-Border Delivery: 4-5 day road delivery service to: Lesotho, Namibia, Swaziland and Botswana.

  • FastWay: Offers efficient logistics solutions.

  • Aramex: Known for global express shipping and logistics solutions.

  • DHL: Offers worldwide express delivery and logistics services.

 

Using Your Own Courier Company

You have the option to arrange shipping through your preferred courier company.

Please note:

  • Minimaal en Mooi Houtwerke will not be responsible for any risks, damages, delays, or other issues arising from the use of your chosen courier company.

  • Contact us to coordinate collection and packaging details if you opt to use your own courier service.

 

Protective Packaging

We take special care in packaging your orders to ensure safe delivery:

  • Boxing and Crating: Depending on the size and fragility of your order, we use sturdy boxes or custom crates to protect your items during transit.

  • Padding and Cushioning: Fragile items are securely padded and cushioned to prevent damage.

  • Sealing and Labeling: Each package is sealed properly and labeled clearly for easy identification and handling.

While we take every precaution to safeguard your packages, please note that shipping carries inherent risks.

 

Once your order leaves our workshop, we are not responsible for any issues that may arise during transit.

 

We recommend inquiring about shipment insurance to cover the full replacement value of your package against risks such as theft, fire accidents, and more (specific to the courier company's policies and the particular consignment).

Self-Collection and Personal Delivery

  • Self-Collection: You have the option to collect your order from our location.

  • Personal Delivery: We offer personal delivery to select areas and during professional installations.

 

Approximate Delivery Times after Fulfillment (South Africa)

  • Main City Centres: 1-3 working days.

  • Outlying Areas: Up to 7+ working days.

  • Heavy Goods, Bulk Purchases, and Regional Areas: 3-5 working days.

 

Cross Border and International Shipping

We offer international shipping using Aramex, DHL and Hop Scotch Freight:

  • Standard Shipping: 10-20 business days.

  • Express Shipping: 5-10 business days. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on order size, weight, and destination. Customers are responsible for any customs duties and taxes.

 

Order Processing

Order processing includes verification, quality check, and packaging, typically taking 1-3 business days.

 

Delivery Delays

While we strive to meet delivery estimates, please note:

  • Fridays: No shipments are processed.

  • Customs and Border Delays: Expect delays, especially within Africa, due to clearance procedures and unforeseen circumstances.

 

After Your Order Has Been Placed
